Job Summary
Buyer/Planner/Scheduler to drive operations, purchasing, production scheduling, and inventory management for Steridose; acts as the central liaison between engineering, supply base, and assembly operations, balancing inventory valuation with customer lead times. Responsibilities include executing purchase orders based on MRP, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, managing supplier relationships and KPIs (Cost, Quality, Delivery), determining make vs. buy decisions, forecasting demand and maintaining optimal inventory levels, participating in S&OP and continuous improvement, scheduling production builds and work orders, aligning engineering drawings with purchasing and the master schedule, and collecting monthly Demand Data by SKU for segmentation analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (M1 highly preferred).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to operate cross-functionally.
