Job Summary
Buyer/Planner for the Sedimentation team responsible for sourcing and planning to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply of materials and components. Processes RFQs, places and manages purchase orders based on requisitions and MRP signals, breaks down BOMs from blueprints, coordinates scheduling around site conditions and delivery timelines, and bids product lines to optimize price, quality, and delivery. Proactively expedites orders, tracks progress, maintains reports for on-time delivery, and supports logistics to optimize cost and timing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires 3+ years of purchasing/planning/supply chain experience, ability to read technical drawings, ERP familiarity (Syteline CSI 10 a plus), strong attention to detail, and proactive follow-through. Educational requirement: minimum two years post-secondary education in related fields or equivalent experience. The role is based in Salt Lake City, UT with a Hybrid working environment and offers full-time employment with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline CSI 10 is a plus)
- Attention to detail and multi-part orders management in a complex manufacturing environment
- Experience coordinating logistics and material flow
- Education: minimum two years of post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field - or equivalent experience
