Job Summary
Evaluate internal demand requirements and generate purchase orders for intercompany materials while coordinating delivery timelines across global sites. Process and maintain accurate purchase orders, resolve backorders and shipping delays, and communicate with internal stakeholders regarding delivery status and planning adjustments. Lead strategic initiatives for intercompany supply chain integration, develop performance KPIs, and partner with sourcing to drive cost savings and inventory turns. Train junior team members and contribute to supply chain process improvement. This role supports internal business unit demand across global sites at Busch Vacuum Solutions' U.S. headquarters in Virginia Beach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- five (5) or more years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- SAP ERP and MRP system experience
- Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
- Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 20% as business needs require
- Valid Drivers' License
- current work authorization in the United States
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and accountability
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
