Buyer/Planner II

Create, release, and maintain purchase orders and work orders within the ERP material planning workbench to support demand requirements. Manage inbound logistics utilizing the Transportation Management System, select carriers for optimal pricing, and file damage claims. Drive resolution of material constraints through direct intervention with suppliers and conduct production meetings to ensure schedule attainment. Evaluate inventories and implement cost reduction activities using optimized processes and competitive sourcing. Maintain compliance with all applicable standards and local regulations while participating in continuous improvement projects for waste elimination.
