Job Summary
Buyer/Planner I (Finished Goods) is responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of finished goods by managing purchasing, inventory levels, and vendor performance, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role involves placing POs and updating Oracle, monitoring demand to maintain inventory targets, ensuring supply across EU warehouses, expediting late shipments, responding to supply issues, reducing excess stock, and supporting purchasing/NPI projects. The position is remote within Ireland and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and experience in an MRP/MPS environment. APICS certification and Oracle Manufacturing experience are pluses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a methodical and accurate manner
- Experience in an MRP/MPS environment
- APICS Certification (preferred)
- Oracle Manufacturing experience (preferred)
