Buyer Planner I - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct daily purchase order management and review requisitions for materials and services to ensure continuous supply. Engage with suppliers on pricing oversight and warranty recovery while collaborating with maintenance staff and Buyer-Planners II/III. Monitor and reconcile inventory of purchased components, assist technicians with parts dispensing for repair work-orders, and enforce compliance with standard purchase terms. Facilitate inventory systems and execute tactical supply chain actions, including year-end reconciliation and emergency part retrieval. Requires second shift (3:00–11:30 PM) with less than 3% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in any area of study
- At least one (1) year of purchasing and/or material planning experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in business
- Three (3) years of purchasing and/or material planning experience
- Experience with ERP systems
- Relevant knowledge of service center for medium/heavy duty fleet, equipment & parts management
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills and ability to aggregate and analyze large data set
- Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- < 3% travel for emergencies
