Job Summary
Buyer/Planner responsible for purchasing and planning materials in Wolfspeed's Supply Chain Procurement team. Duties include expediting purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels to support production, coordinating with suppliers on delivery lead times and schedules, communicating open orders and shortages, analyzing MRP/ERP signals to drive purchasing decisions, and identifying cost savings and process improvements to support uninterrupted semiconductor wafer processing.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 3 years' experience in a buying, planning, or procurement role
- Experience with direct materials purchasing
- Demonstrated experience in a self-directed, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve supply issues
