Buyer

Buyer at Novanta focused on sourcing electronic and mechanical components, supplier performance, and inventory management to support precision manufacturing. Collaborates with planning teams to align supply with demand, manages supplier relationships and drives performance improvements, monitors supply risks and long-lead-time materials, leads or supports supply chain improvement initiatives (including BOM changes and ECNs), and tracks supplier performance and KPIs. Requires experience in a Buyer or Supply Chain role within engineering/manufacturing, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards, familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain KPIs, and knowledge of international trade/compliance. Location: Cambridge, on-site.
