Job Summary
Review the master production schedule to identify materials requiring procurement or rescheduling. Place purchase orders with suppliers, obtaining delivery commitments and maintaining due date information. Manage inventory levels to achieve desired service levels while minimizing excess risk. Regularly monitor material lead times, maintain ERP system standard costs, and review Change Orders affecting your materials. Communicate supply issues impacting production schedules and assist stakeholders in establishing purchasing policies. Requires 2+ years purchasing experience and ERP navigation skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, or relevant experience
- 2+ years purchasing experience
- Experience navigating ERP and material planning systems
