Job Summary
Manage procurement and sourcing activities for the Automation team by preparing and issuing requests for quotations, tracking supplier rebates, and maintaining key vendor relationships. Source competitive suppliers and materials to maximize value while ensuring reliable service, quality, and cost competitiveness. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and sourcing engineers to align vendor capabilities, process purchase orders, and mitigate supply chain disruptions through proactive forecasting and follow-up on delayed shipments. Maintain accurate records of quotes, contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier performance data to support informed decision-making and rebate program optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience of category or buying experience
- Strong supplier communication and relationship management skills
- Familiarity with supplier capacity planning and lead time tracking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP or procurement system experience
- Required to travel for supplier visits and miscellaneous events as needed (<10%)
