Job Summary
Monitor inventory levels monthly to maintain 85% accuracy and support the Store Manager in executing merchandise plans. Coordinate with the Receiving associate to ensure new shipments are expeditiously received and displayed on the sales floor. Oversee product merchandising, utilize vendor networks to source seasonal items, and manage slow sellers, no sellers, and overstocks through tagging and pull orders. Review retail inventory to reduce shrinkage and maintain appropriate stock levels while providing input to ensure products remain on the sales floor. Establish and maintain a uniform tagging and signage process.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree
- Possess a vast product knowledge of bike related products
- willingness to learn
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate, though not constant physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 30 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- at times, product weight may reach 50 lbs
- Requires the ability to move heavy products with assistance
