BUYER

Oversee daily non-stock purchases within the customer's MRO storeroom and tool cribs, reviewing and analyzing purchase requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy. Contact departments to clarify details, determine processing methods based on dollar amount and contracts, and select vendors by evaluating price, quality, and delivery dates. Prepare bid specifications, request bids, and create purchase orders while resolving accounts payable issues and handling data input. Perform storeroom duties including receiving materials, stocking inventory, cycle counting, and point-of-use replenishment to support production needs. Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to address inquiries and provide customer service within the facility.
