Job Summary
Sourcing and procurement of goods, including raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for specific products or functions. Develop supply sources by interviewing potential suppliers, visiting current vendors to improve relations, assessing supply facilities, and negotiating prices. Ensure minimum inventory levels for allocated commodities are maintained without jeopardizing scheduled production within customer release schedules. Participate as a strategic liaison with relevant suppliers to ensure raw material requirements are satisfied. Requires 1-5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, and proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

- Must have excellent reading, writing, and spelling skills
- Ability to read and understand legal contracts
- Ability to read component prints and drawings
- Must have ability to perform true cost analysis, make vs. buy analysis
- Understand logistics impacts
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- SAP experience preferred
- Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Operate standard office equipment preferred
