Job Summary
Procurement-focused Buyer responsible for source selection and indirect materials/services procurement, with exposure to fixed assets, tooling, and select production materials. Drives costs, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; manages high SKU volume in a low-volume, high-mix setting; initiates purchase orders, negotiates terms, analyzes quotations, and coordinates with suppliers and internal schedulers. Maintains supplier relationships, conducts supplier quality reviews, handles ECO revisions, processes MRRs, and supports annual physical inventory. Requires ERP proficiency, strong analytical and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across functions; office-based with potential one-day-per-week remote after training. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR 3-5 years related experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems and material replenishment concepts (e.g., Kanban)
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents (blueprints preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
