Job Summary
Coordinate customer needs and identify vendors to procure requisitioned commodities based on price, quantity, quality, and delivery criteria. Manage inventory levels and place orders for spot buy purchases and replenishment items in a production supply crib. Resolve purchasing problems with vendors and identify cost savings initiatives. Requires knowledge of materials, commodity markets, and technical specifications. Full-time role with competitive benefits including 401(k), health, and dental insurance. Located in the US, Canada, Mexico, or Puerto Rico.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of materials, products, and the commodity market for the site
- Skill in preparing and analyzing complex technical specifications and bids
- Sourcing experience
- Organization and strong attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
