Job Summary
Hands-on Buyer to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Partners with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and AP to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and at best value. Responsible for managing purchase requisitions, RFQs, and POs; negotiating pricing, lead times, and supplier terms; supporting vendor selection and performance management; expediting orders and resolving delivery/invoice issues; driving cost analysis and inventory optimization; and maintaining ERP data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years of purchasing experience (manufacturing required; medical device preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills
- ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/JDE/Dynamics a plus)
- Excel proficiency
