Buyer IV (Opex Lead Buyer)

Job Summary
Buyer IV to lead a sub team of Buyers in the semiconductor materials supply chain, drive on-time supplier delivery and achieve inventory targets, manage KPIs such as Past Due PO and Unconfirm PO, ensure data compliance (LT, AVL, SPQ/MOQ), supervise purchasing activities to prevent production disruption, improve escalation for material shortages, maintain supplier rapport, and perform risk assessment of material positioning for critical parts. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma/Equivalent) and extensive purchasing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong interpersonal/negotiation skills and familiarity with MRP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science / mathematics / Materials /Industrial Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent
- At least 6 years working experience for bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical or equivalent
- At least 10 years working experience for Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent
- Knowledge of MRP system will be advantageous
