Create and release RFPs and RFQs using a 7-step sourcing process, tracking market factors and business strategy priorities to negotiate targeted costs based on ideal cost levels. Validate pricing from suppliers, maintain accurate records, and forecast price change impacts with full documentation. Build and strengthen supplier relationships by facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders while ensuring fair treatment. Act as a liaison between departments to resolve supply issues within assigned commodities. Implement technological and process opportunities to improve operations and stay ahead of competition. Manage suppliers to meet current and future commodity needs across all business areas for U.S. operations.
