Job Summary
Manage assigned commodities including build-to-print PCBs, components, plastics, and sheet metal by executing sourcing and negotiating non-contracted parts. Run, execute, and manage the MRP Action Report Form in APEX while serving as the liaison for customer interfaces. Advise program managers on Purchase Price Variance based on material availability and resolve non-conforming material disposition. Work with suppliers and program managers to reduce or return materials during E&O mitigation processes. Report material status to the Customer Focus Team for all related programs. Incorporate NEOTech's supply chain strategy into solicitation and supplier selection, and support NPI, cost reduction initiatives, and ISO standards. Mentor and support the development of buyers at levels I and II.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with EMS supply chain and distribution network
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based upon deadlines
- Strong problem solving skills
- Must be a team player
- Highly motivated
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must pass a drug test which include screening for illegal drugs and marijuana
