Job Summary
Create and process purchase orders while tracking deliveries and maintaining vendor, inventory, and regulatory files. Evaluate and plan raw material components and packaging products to prevent shortages or overstocking. Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, set up new service providers, and carry out quality and trial processes. Monitor inventory for obsolete materials and follow up on all orders for proper authorization. Attend scheduling and production meetings as assigned. Complete required online and classroom training. Work in an office setting from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong math, written, verbal and analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Microsoft Office – intermediate level
- Excel – advanced level
- Inventory system software - intermediate level
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and functional teams
- Demonstrated confidentiality and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and take on new challenges
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
- Must complete online and classroom training as required
- Authority to seek out and establish relationships with vendors
