Job Summary
Submit requests for quotes, generate and maintain purchase orders for tactical and strategic suppliers, and manage supplier delivery schedules to ensure MRP information remains current. Identify cost savings opportunities, lead business reviews with suppliers to review KPIs, and monitor safety stock levels and reorder points. Coordinate with internal customers including Logistics, A/P, and Operations to resolve quality, lead time, and delivery issues, while collaborating on Engineering Change Requests and the RMA process. Assist in research and analysis to generate reports, with potential for local and domestic travel to supplier locations. This role supports complex OEM manufacturing projects for NASA and energy initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- associate's degree or minimum of 4-years' experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Highly proficient in utilizing ERP Systems
- Demonstrates a high level of proficiency and self-sufficiency with MRP and other systems to be a resource for others
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers
- Negotiation and moderate contracting skills
- Strong PC and MS Office suite skills with intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel (required)
- Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field (preferred)
- Industry certification such as Institute for Supply Management CPSM (preferred) or Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS) CSCP
- Power BI experience (preferred)
