Job Summary
Entry-level Buyer I role focused on procuring materials, commodities, and/or services in accordance with AVL, unit price, quality, and delivery expectations. Responsible for purchasing of materials, placement and management of purchase orders, rescheduling and cancellations, and timely resolution of non-conforming material and invoice queries. Aims to minimize inventory while meeting production plans and to escalate to prevent production disruption. Supports optimization of procurement automation processes and data integrity within automation systems to balance automation vs exceptions in execution. Requires a bachelors degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred, plus strong analytical, communication, and Excel/Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorb7s Degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience considered
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
