Buyer - I

The Buyer role entails purchasing production materials, components, equipment, tooling, MRO items, and services from new and existing suppliers; drafting sourcing recommendations with bid history context to justify awarded bidders; collaborating with Supplier Quality Engineering for source selection; supporting new program launches and participating in design reviews; opening and closing orders to maintain inventory levels. Strong emphasis on negotiating supplier contracts to meet supply, material quality, and commercial objectives, and on supplier relationship management to support quality and cost goals. Requires a Bachelor’s in Business (or related field) or an Associate’s with relevant purchasing experience, and a track record in procurement, sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional teamwork. Salary range: $51,200 - $70,100 per year. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered.
