Job Summary

Experienced Buyer needed to manage pre-award procurement activities for major projects in Brisbane. Responsibilities include sourcing materials and equipment, preparing and issuing ITB documentation, managing bidder prequalification and the full tendering process, leading commercial evaluations (including pricing structures, Incoterms, and payment milestones), reviewing vendor deviations, and supporting award documentation and purchase order handover. The role requires strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment. Ideally, experience with sourcing for capital equipment/materials and familiarity with EPC/EPCM projects, international procurement, and global supply markets. A relevant tertiary qualification and knowledge of incoterms, logistics, and total cost of ownership are highly valued.
