Job Summary
Proactive, detail-driven Supply Chain Buyer coordinating with manufacturing partners and internal teams (Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance) to ensure On-Time-In-Full delivery of materials and services. Responsibilities include purchase order creation and management, supplier communication and issue resolution (late deliveries, overshipments, invoicing discrepancies, material non-conformance), cross-functional coordination to support commercial needs and smooth PO-to-invoice processes, basic cost and volume analysis to guide cost-effective purchasing and inventory objectives, regular supplier performance follow-up, and participation in inventory controls and purchasing best-practices development with mentorship to team members. The role supports a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on improving patient outcomes in medical devices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of related purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong customer-service orientation when working with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, with the ability to collect and review data, establish facts, and solve problems
- Advanced critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong project-management skills with excellent organization and prioritization abilities
- Attention to detail and a self-starter mindset
- Experience working for a medical device manufacturer
- Project-management experience
