Job Summary
Act as Project Buyer for NPI and VE/Resourcing scopes within GBE, leading supplier selection for assigned projects and owning project deliverables (cost, APQP, milestones from protos to SOP+6 months) while ensuring design compliance and TEFS support. Identify resourcing opportunities, participate in VE ideas generation, and execute VE, resourcing, and logistics productivity actions aligned with AOP. Manage post-SOP Engineering changes with suppliers and secure first-year savings, act as the OSC for GBE during Mass Production, collaborate on regional components scope, and handle logistics/capacity/quality issues as the primary sourcing interface. Support trade, compliance, and sustainability information collection; contribute to commodity panels strategy; drive productivity objectives and supplier performance review, with leadership in project management and agile mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration
- Min 3y experience in Procurement, preferably in Automotive industry
