Job Summary
Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders from initiation to delivery while coordinating with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve compliance issues. Proactively track orders to prevent delays, monitor inventory levels, and address any problems impacting production schedules. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and negotiate pricing to achieve cost savings.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials management, or expediting
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management processes
- Demonstrated experience coordinating with suppliers and managing delivery schedules
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
