Job Summary
Supply Chain Buyer/Planner role responsible for buying, planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Lead and improve planning and ordering for component parts and finished goods; analyze usage against demand or supply changes; standardize daily planning processes. Maintain vendor management including Supplier Scorecard and Forecasting; place purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers; manage site inventory, perform cycle counts and loss-reduction projects; provide detailed costing information to Finance; identify and lead projects to improve planning, inventory management, and service; support new product development or transitions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field and at least 6 months of purchasing/planning experience. Machinists background and ERP experience (MFG Pro, Oracle) are a plus; APICS certification is a plus. Salary range: $53k-$71k per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
- Minimum 6 months of purchasing, scheduling, planning, or supply chain experience (including internship/co-op)
- Detail oriented with strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
