Job Summary
Review daily material requirement planning, execute orders for production and MRO materials, and collaborate with planning and suppliers to resolve delivery issues and develop recovery plans. Interface with department representatives to determine technical and manufacturing needs, process engineering change order releases, and follow up on deliveries to obtain proof of delivery and resolve invoicing. Manage inventory levels for assigned materials, including order quantity, safety stock, excess, and obsolete inventories, while attending production meetings and providing regular updates on assigned metrics. Maintain data and prepare reports using SAP and Microsoft Office software, ensuring all tasks adhere to organizational quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field
- Excellent communication, computer, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to respond to changing priorities
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Demonstrates excellent inter-personal, group participation, and group management skills
- Must be a flexible, high-energy individual, able to handle multiple tasks and frequently changing priorities
- Must be able to carry 20 pounds unassisted of production order packages around a manufacturing facility
- Physical ability to travel freely within manufacturing and office facilities
- Physical ability to climb stairs and move over, around, and about shop machinery
Desired Qualifications
- SAP Materials and Planning experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite products with a focus on Excel
