Job Summary
Buyer role across North America sourcing materials, supplies, and services; issue, track, and manage purchase orders; collaborate with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to align purchasing with demand; monitor inventory levels and support optimization; evaluate suppliers on quality, service, cost, and reliability; resolve purchasing issues with site stakeholders; maintain procurement records and support reporting; drive standardization and efficiency in procurement processes across three locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, economic, financial, or business field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing and contract management in manufacturing/production or construction preferred
- Proficiency in SAP/Ariba and MS Office applications preferred
- Strong understanding of procurement, purchasing, and supply chain principles
- Ability to analyze data, compare options, and make informed buying decisions
- Clear and professional communication skills with internal teams and external suppliers
