Job Summary
The Buyer will manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials and finished goods to ensure continuity of supply, handle purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability aligned with production plans, resolve supply and quality issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders, drive supplier performance and KPIs, maintain accurate SAP material master data, and collaborate with production planners, network schedulers, logistics, and customs. Proficiency in SAP MM and Kinaxis, plus cross-functional communication and a results-oriented approach, is required. The role supports a hybrid work model based out of Eaton’s EMEA BSC in Budapest, with a diverse, inclusive environment and a focus on continuous improvement across systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of direct material purchasing in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- SAP MM advanced level
- Bachelor's degree in relevant area preferred (SCM, Engineering)
- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial supply chains (make-to-order / make-to-stock environments)
- Fluency in English
Desired Qualifications
