Job Summary
Experienced Buyer role leading Knitwear category for Womenswear at Cotton On. Own category direction, end-to-end range architecture, and translate strategy into strong product and commercial outcomes. Build balanced ranges delivering newness, volume, and profitability aligned to brand DNA, customer demand, and financial targets. Own buy decisions in partnership with Planning, trade category with speed based on sales and insights, identify key items, manage pricing at style level, and drive sales, margin, and mix. Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Trend, Planning, Production, Marketing, Store Experience, and Digital to bring compelling product stories to life. Lead and coach a high-performing team, fostering ownership, accountability, and strong commercial execution. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification / degree in Buying or related field
- Demonstrated experience in a Buyer role within a retail or brand environment
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop and lead teams
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of buying impact on sales, margin and demand
