Job Summary
As a Buyer at Epirus, you will source critical components and manage procurement for next-gen hardware. This role requires a BS degree and 2+ years of experience in procurement within a fast-paced environment. US citizenship or residency is required.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2+ years of procurement experience
- Understanding of supplier risk identification, mitigation and contingency planning
- Understanding of negotiation of price and terms and conditions
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a NPI, automotive, defense, commercial electronics, or aerospace
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CPSR, DPAS ratings a plus – but not required
- Deep understanding of query languages and data analytics
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
- Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
