Job Summary
The Buyer - Component Parts will be responsible for all aspects of the Parts Procurement process for Samsung Austin Semiconductor, including purchase order creation and management, inventory management for high-usage parts, negotiation of annual pricing with local/shared vendors, leading cost savings and efficiency initiatives, tracking and reporting procurement KPIs, collaboration with Engineering and other stakeholders, and participation in global supply chain management meetings for vendor alignment and effective procurement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
- 4+ years of procurement / supply-chain experience
- Proficiency in inventory-management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and time-management skills
