Job Summary
Manage the purchase order lifecycle, oversee demand forecasting and inventory planning, and develop negotiations for supply agreements with strategic suppliers. Lead cost savings initiatives, track procurement key performance indicators, and collaborate with Engineering and other stakeholders. Design and implement workflows for order generation, approval, and fulfillment while integrating ERP systems. Analyze consumption trends to optimize stocking strategies, reduce low usage inventory, and eliminate zero bin events. Define project scopes for process improvements and cultivate high-performance supplier relationships driving cost savings and quality. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and other departments to ensure operational excellence. This role supports Samsung Austin Semiconductor's production equipment MRO procurement process within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics or a related field
- 4+ years of procurement / supply‐chain experience
- Hands on work with an ERP
- Overall proficiency with inventory management
- Proficiency with MS Office
