Job Summary
Buyer – Chilled and Snacking responsible for owning category strategy, driving sales and profit targets, curating optimal assortments, and leading supplier negotiations across WHSmith UK Travel formats. Leads pricing and promotional strategies, sources products in line with category strategy, delivers cross-functional projects and trials, contributes to budgeting/forecasting, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver a customer-led snacking offer with hybrid working (home and office) flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Previous buying or relevant commercial experience
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident negotiation skills and supplier management experience
- The ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
