Job Summary
Proactive and detail-oriented Buyer responsible for end-to-end purchasing for manufacturing operations, supplier relations, inventory coordination, on-time delivery, and cost optimization. Utilizes strong negotiation skills and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams. Requires knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and familiarity with procurement documentation and contract aspects. Preferred APICS certification and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 5% and on-site office-based role in Madera, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
