Job Summary
Maintain a reasonable level of inventory within the area of responsibility and keep accurate records of ordered items and expected delivery dates. Review vendor invoices for accuracy prior to approval for payment and work with other departments on special orders. Conduct limited contract review and administration while evaluating products for performance and value added to the Company. Meet with vendors to review their products, performance, and services, and travel to attend seminars and training classes as required. This role supports Auto-Owners Insurance's mission to help individuals and businesses make a new start after a loss.
Required Qualifications
- Two- or four-year college degree or related experience
- Experience using SAP
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms, read and interpret documents, and write routine reports and correspondence
- Problem resolution and communication skills
- Ability to analyze details, make decisions, demonstrate innovativeness and continually seek more efficient ways to process and handle work
- The ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

- Ability to travel, attend seminars, and attend training classes as required
