Job Summary
Procure end-to-end purchasing for manufacturing operations; develop supplier relationships; manage purchase orders, expedite needs, and on-time delivery; identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation; collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align procurement with project timelines and specifications; monitor trends, material availability, and pricing fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions; maintain accurate procurement records and provide regular reports on supplier performance and procurement KPIs; ensure compliance and proper documentation throughout procurement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management preferred.
