Job Summary
Buyer role focused on executing the full procurement lifecycle for Power Solutions projects, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract administration. Responsibilities include leading commercial negotiations, coordinating cross-functional teams and supplier meetings, maintaining ERP data (e.g., SAP), building supplier relationships, monitoring contracts (cost, schedule, risks, changes), driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, lead time, and delivery performance, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and procurement reporting. Requires relevant higher education in business/engineering or related field with at least two years in procurement or supply-chain roles, basic project management skills, strong commercial and technical understanding, proficiency with procurement processes, and fluency in Swedish and English. The role is based in Kristinehamn, Sweden, with hybrid remote work flexibility (up to two days from home per week).
Required Qualifications
- Relevant higher education within business, engineering, or related field; relevant work experience may compensate for formal education
- At least two years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or similar roles
- Basic project management skills
- Solid commercial understanding with technical awareness of customer/project requirements
- Working knowledge of company systems and procurement processes
- Fluency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language; strong English language skills
- Ability to work independently within defined scopes; proactive and solution-oriented
- Team-player mindset with collaboration and accountability
