Job Summary
Purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms while ensuring activities align with corporate purchasing policies. Identify new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team and finish indirect material and service requirement supplier quotation and competitive bidding. Select final suppliers, agree on price and conditions, convert purchase requirements to POs, and manage POs. Negotiate with vendors, prepare IM&S contracts, and maintain vendor master data in the system. This role supports ABB's mission to electrify the world safely and sustainably through medium- and low-voltage electrical components and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Economic, Logistics, and other Engineering Major
- CET-4 level and above
- fluent in oral and written English communication
- Two years or above purchasing or sourcing experience in large industrial plants
- Excellent business negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Excellent teamwork and cooperation skills with cross functions
- Excellent systematically thinking and data analysis ability
- Familiar with application of office software

- Knowledge in SAP software
