Job Summary
Own and execute daily procurement activities across Product Engineering, IT, Facilities, Operations, Marketing, Project Management, Finance, Logistics, and Office functions. Place, track, and manage purchase orders while coordinating vendor communications to prevent delays. Consolidate purchase requests, secure competitive quotes, and support the RFQ process for standard and non-project purchases. Track weekly expected order deliveries, monitor open PO status, and flag at-risk deliveries to stakeholders. Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain procurement records within Procurify for audit readiness. Identify opportunities for spend consolidation and process improvement. This 6-month contract position offers potential for extension or conversion to full-time, with hybrid/remote work options for candidates within a commutable distance.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a procurement, buyer, or purchasing coordinator role
- Demonstrated success managing purchase orders, vendor communications, and procurement documentation
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking spend, open orders, and supplier performance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with internal teams and external suppliers
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure in evolving environments
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
