Job Summary
Review purchase requisitions and release purchase orders on suppliers. Collaborate with local and overseas suppliers to ensure availability of material as per execution plan to maintain service level above 95%. Proactively identifying risks and escalating challenges to meet expected deliveries. Periodically reviewing and updating master data including Kanban maintained in system. Coordinating with planning team and global supply chain to provide status and feasibility during quoting big projects. Implementing ECN actions with stakeholders. Identifying supply chain challenges and mitigating in coordination with global supply chain. Attending internal and external audits. Negotiate with suppliers for best lead times and cost. Prepare and submit management information reports. Suggest and implement improvements in P2P process. Emphasis on ERP, data interpretation, and strong communication. Degree and 3+ years in purchasing/procurement/supply chain required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Production engineering or any related or equivalent field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing / procurement / supply chain.
- Detailed understanding of supply chain processes and commercial terms.
- Excellent negotiation skill and interpersonal skill.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of import process and outsourcing process.
- Exposure of procuring machined, metal molded, fabricated and buyout parts.
