Butter Stacker- Night Shift

Job Summary
Operate butter filling machines and monitor the production process to ensure high-quality output within specification. Perform routine maintenance checks, clean and sanitize equipment, and assist maintenance teams with repairs. Collect data for production reports, run butterfat and moisture samples, and conduct metal detection checks. Maintain an organized work area while adhering to strict food safety and quality requirements. Handle inventory management and operate pallet jacks to move materials to staging areas. This role requires standing for 12 hours, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 60 pounds, with a Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday schedule from 5:00pm to 5:30am. A night shift differential applies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand/walk for 12 hours
- Must be able to confidently traverse concrete and tile floors that may intermittently be wet with milk, water, or butter
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs both expanded metal and catwalk
- Must be able to wear required PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, rubber steel toed boots, etc.
- Must be able to operate powered and unpowered pallet jackets, or obtain certification within 30 days
- Must be able to handle and use a utility safety knife
- Must be able to open small plastic bottles
- Must be able to handle and use eye dropper
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest level and above shoulder height
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to read and follow directions
- Must be able to monitor and inspect product and equipment and follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment background screen
- Must receive a negative drug screen result
- Must confirm eligibility to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes preferred
- 1 year production experience preferred
