Job Summary
Conduct before-school pickups and afternoon drop-offs as a part-time school bus driver for the Seneca Valley School District. Operate a split shift with early morning and late afternoon coverage, including additional hours gained through trips and charters when available. We provide paid CDL training and industry-leading technology to support your success. This role offers a $32.00/hour starting wage with sign-on bonuses for fully licensed and new drivers, plus medical, dental, vision benefits, and a 401k plan. No prior bus driving experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- At least 21 years old
- Fully licensed driver status (for $7,500 bonus)
- New driver status (for $5,000 bonus)
- CDL
- Experience as a School Bus Driver
- Experience as a Student Transportation Driver
- Experience as a School Route Driver
- Experience as a Substitute Bus Driver
- Experience as an AM/PM School Bus Operator
- Experience as a Local CDL Driver – School Transportation
- Ability to work a split shift (early morning before-school pickup and after-school drop-off)
- Ability to work additional hours through trips and charters when available
- Ability to work a part-time schedule
- Ability to enjoy working with students
- Ability to work in a drug-free workplace
- Ability to comply with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 (no Schedule I drugs, including marijuana)
