Job Summary
Greet arriving guests at the bedroom, offer detailed orientation of butler services and welcome amenities, and act as the final gatekeeper for room preparedness and guest request fulfillment. Conduct daily room inspections, coordinate with Housekeeping for occupied room servicing, and deliver messages, faxes, packages, and guest request items to rooms. Facilitate garment pressing, footwear service, laundry, and dry cleaning delivery while maintaining accurate inventory of minibar items and housekeeping pantries. Supervise Housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, communicate professionally with all departments to ensure total guest satisfaction, and handle all guest service opportunities immediately. Maintain high levels of confidentiality, adhere to company policies, and represent the Ocean House Collection with a positive attitude and professional attire.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English both verbally
- 18+ years of age
- Strong communication and people skills
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work late evenings
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to speak a language other than English
- Knowledge of flowers, wine, and fine foods
- Physical ability to perform medium work (up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, up to 10 pounds constantly)
