Job Summary
Butler/House Manager responsible for the overall appearance, flow, and readiness of a multi-property estate portfolio; owns daily walkthroughs, ensures guest-ready presentation, and maintains hotel-level standards. Develops systems, checklists, and processes; oversees household inventory and deliveries; leads guest arrivals/departures, provides light service and packing/unpacking, offers turndown service, and assists with event setup. Serves as the presentation lead across household staff and collaborates with the team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service; travels ahead to prepare properties as needed for principals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in private households and/or ultra-luxury hospitality environment
- Strong preference for backgrounds in European five-star hotels or resorts
- Butler training or formal hospitality education is a plus (not required)
- Verifiable references required
- Must be able to pass a background check
