Job Summary
Butler required to deliver warm, anticipative service to Accor’s guests across Fairmont Gold lounge and suites. Responsibilities include maintaining in-depth knowledge of hotel operations, offering personalized guest assistance, coordinating luggage and room provisions, preparing bar beverages, and ensuring seamless in-room dining and guest experiences. You will refresh suites, coordinate housekeeping and maintenance tasks, manage guest requests and complaints, build rapport with guests, and coordinate with Concierge, Reception, IT, and other departments. The role emphasizes high standards of grooming, presentation, and professional communication, with duties spanning from tea and beverage service to arranging itineraries and guest entertainment, while supporting training and ongoing staff collaboration. Must be able to work varied hours, stand for long periods, and lift up to 70 pounds; fluency in English and the local language is expected, with additional language skills considered an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Two years minimum hospitality experience
- High level of English, local language is a plus
- Luxury five-star hospitality experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand long hours
- Must be flexible with shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Formalized training as a butler is highly regarded
- Proficiency with hotel PMS (Micros-Fidelio preferred) and Microsoft Office
