Job Summary
Support servers by maintaining buffet standards, restocking china and silverware, and ensuring linen and napkins are at par. Handle daily requisitions for products, manage the pastry wagon and bread service, and assist with room setup for private functions. Adhere to strict food handling and hygiene protocols, including proper hand washing, glove usage, and safe storage of all food items. Attend pre-shift meetings, participate in required training, and maintain a clean, organized work area following Serve Safe standards. Work flexible shifts including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- AGLC Proserve
- Must have working knowledge of the English language (verbal, written, reading)
- The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous buffet/customer service experience is preferred
- Has an interest in learning about food and beverage service
- Has a cheerful, positive attitude
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Good at dealing with stressful situations
