Job Summary
Busser at Sunset Marquis responsible for maintaining a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy; provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service; attend to guest needs in a courteous manner; maintain proper par levels in server stations; assist servers and runners; help with in-house events setup, breakdown, and service; comply with all food/alcohol service, safety, and sanitation regulations; demonstrate professional appearance, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; engage in opening/closing/side work duties and maintain stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Luxury hotel/fine dining experience preferred
- High volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar experience preferred
- Food Handlers card is required
- TIPS Certification is a plus
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a plus
- Proficient in English- verbal and written
- Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Aloha experience is a plus
- Open Table experience is a plus
- Must pass drug and background screening
